Barbara McEntire Hitt, 80, of San Pedro, CA, passed away October 21, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born to Hugh and the late Cora Case McEntire, Aug. 4, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan. Barbara graduated from Cooley High School, Detroit and received a BA in Physical Education from the Ottawa University, Kansas in 1961.She married Kent Lee Hitt in 1961; the marriage ended in divorce.
